This place was beyond impossible to get in to. People I knew had a hard time finding a vacant spot to sit in this quaint little bakery cafe that served cheesecakes, pies and other desserts and pastries. So imagine how excited I was when we finally drove by one night and found a small empty spot just for us.
Banapple is a small bakery cafe located at Katipunan Avenue, Blue Ridge, Quezon City, Philippines. And when I say small, it really is small. As what I wrote above, it’s quaint and cute so it’s no wonder why everyone can’t really get accommodated inside it.
The place is known for their Banoffee Pie and Apple Caramel Crumble Pie (hence the bakery’s name “Banapple”) and other desserts as well. I wasn’t able to try both. Just the Banoffee one. Why didn’t I try the Apple Caramel Crumble Pie? I have no idea. Maybe because the first one to capture my eye was the Blueberry Cheesecake and I’m really just a sucker for those.
True enough, the Banoffee Pie was good. Although it started to crumble down when I sliced right through it, it was really good. It wasn't too sweet. Not the kind that would make you give up on it halfway through. One should really try it out when visiting this place.
The Blueberry Cheesecake and the Oreo Cheesecake were ok as well (better the Blueberry one than the Oreo) but the one thing that really made me go “omg this is sooo goood!” was their Fat and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie that was heated up and drizzled with chocolate when they served it. It was really delicious and I guess I had to let this “being a sucker for cheesecakes” go for the moment when all I could really think about was this cookie. *I sound like a kid*

Banapple didn’t only serve desserts and pastries but they also served sandwiches and other dishes. I wasn’t able to try them out yet though.
This bakery cafe is affordable and really worth trying out. They already have two cafes located near to each other so you can pick which one to visit when the other is full although you might just come a little early so you’ll actually have a place to sit.
